Flanagan said First Nations can't make Natural Resource Transfer Act claims

The following piece written by journalist Lee Harding is based on comments made to him in an interview with Tom Flanagan.

Dr. Flanagan is Senior Fellow of the Fraser Institute, Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Distinguished Fellow, at the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary, and Chair, Aboriginal Futures, at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. 

In this important interview, Dr. Flanagan cogently argues that the numbered treaties excluded indigenous people from any claim to resource revenues on non-reserve lands.
