An outstanding piece of courageously heartfelt writing by Michelle Stirling that drives a stake right through the heart of the fatuous nonsense about indigenous children’s unmarked graves can be found on the other side of the paywall.
Stirling ends her piece with the proud words “My home and native land,” now seen as a hateful and racist repudiation of militant aboriginal claims that indigenous people still own all the land of Canada, testimony to the impossibility of reconciliation when one of the partners denies historical realities by proclaiming our national anthem should be rewritten as “My home on native land.”
