The outstanding piece on the other side of the paywall written by gifted journalist and prolific author Robert MacBain deals with a court case in which despite evidence that the Ojibway plaintiffs had no legitimate claim on land they said was theirs, the judge in question ruled otherwise, likely resulting in Canadian taxpayers having “to fork over $10 billion-plus because she allowed herself to become co-opted by the Ojibway plaintiffs.”
