BC NDP really jumped the gun on the Haida Gwaii hand-off. Even the feds were surprised. No mention of what happens to all the fee simple landowners in HG. No mention of industry interests, tourism outfits, et cetera, how all of those people will fare in land that technically they no longer own and cannot operate on without HN approval.
Sounds like the BC NDP are trying to revive the potlatch -- except they're giving away others people's stuff.
