I am about as religiously agnostic as one can get, however, I am constantly reminded of a survey conducted by Muslims in Egypt. When asked if a Muslim who left the 'faith' should be killed, about 75 % said yes. I think it was Bertrand Russell who said, Man will never know peace until his perceived 'need' for religion is overcome.
The letter should not be ignored. Instead it should be refuted using the arguments stated in your column. There should never be an alternate truth perpetrated by special interest groups.
Racists accusing others as racist. Lies and propaganda against Israel, a disguise to hide there own bias. You cannot appease fanatics.
